A spokesperson for TikTok Indonesia said: “We are well aware that we have a great responsibility to the user community and require ourselves to a higher standard. We plan to take the next step, to upgrade software and hardware equipment in Indonesia in the next 6 to 18 months, and establish data centre, putting digital media advertisements on a large scale. With the current 110 million downloads, moving forward to a wider user coverage, and locking the goal of 130 million downloads. The initial investment is 100 million US dollars."
